I must admit that I was highly inspired by the movie 'Julie and Julia' ,first to get interested in cooking, and second , to blog about it. :)
Today I made Cabbage, Beans and Soya nuggets stew. All green and nice.
I bought an induction cooker a week back. So all the cooking is happening in there.
The ingredients for this recipe are :
Cabbage
Beans (add any other cruciferous vegetables that you like)
Soya nuggets
Garlic paste
Pepper
Salt
A teaspoon of Nutralite butter (to add that buttery, tempting smell)
So , I am a big fan of garlic. So I put extra garlic in all my foods.
It took me 20 minutes for the whole process, right from cutting vegetables to boiling it.
TIP : When you put garlic paste in the water in which the vegetables are boiling, the garlic flavour goes nicely inside the cabbage.
Bottom Line : You can cut and put absolutely any amount of vegetables and boil them up with garlic and salt and pepper, and I can gurantee it smells delicious, and tastes delicious. Bland as it may sound, but the garlic paste did the trick for me. Plus the soya gave me my required protein and filled me up. My dinner is done, Im satisfied.
Conclusion : Never feel scared to eat boiled vegetables. They taste extremely delicious when mised with the right spices and condiments. :)

Time saving tips along with new recipes .
This comes not from someone who is a highly established cook.
But someone who lives in a flat in Bangalore with six other girls, has a full time job from 10.00am to 7, sometimes 8.00pm.
And being a fitness freak , eating right becomes the most important priority of the day.
So after a long, hard day of work, the only thing I expect is to eat a diet which is healthy , tasty and quick to make. Im not asking too much , am I?
So, for all you working women, freshly passed out of college, this is your solution to all your food problems.
Pardon me for my mistakes and bloopers in this process of experimenting with recipes. :)
